  3. Rescheduled Special Election Meeting of the Members

    Event Starts: October 05, 2023

    6:00 pm

    The Townsend Village Homeowners Association, Inc. has set a tentative meeting date of Thursday, October 5, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. to hold the rescheduled Virtual Special Election Meeting of the Members. Please note, one prior meeting has been scheduled but could not be held due to lack of quorum. If the quorum for the upcoming meeting is not met, the Board, per the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs”), will adjourn the meeting and immediately reconvene the meeting so the election process may proceed, and the business of the Association can be discussed.

    There is one (1) seat on the Board of Directors up for election and Owners may cast their Ballot electronically either on the Association’s website or by email or fax. Ballots cast electronically shall also count for quorum, therefore, it is not necessary for Owners voting electronically to assign a Proxy. If you mail your ballot, please allow plenty of time for the Ballot to reach our office and if you assign a Proxy, your Proxy Holder must return the Ballot and Proxy together in order for the Ballot to be counted. All votes mut be cast no later than Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 5:00 p.m.

    If you do not vote online; it is important that your Ballot or Proxy is returned to your Association Manager prior to the Deadline Date of Wednesday, October 4, 2023, by 5:00p.m. in order for it to be counted. The special election meeting cannot be held without the proper quorum; therefore, it is important you complete and return the proxy, in the event that you are not able to attend the meeting.

    Event Starts: August 24, 2023

    As the Managing Agent for Townsend Village Homeowners Association, Inc., we are pleased to announce that the Annual Election Meeting of the Members has been scheduled for Thursday, August 24th, at the Rockwall County Facility at 6:00 pm. The purpose of this meeting is to elect four (4) Class A Members to the Board of Directors, and to conduct normal business of the Association.

    Enclosed in this packet you will find the Draft Agenda, Proxy, Ballot, and Candidacy Statement. It is important that you return your proxy, even if you plan on attending, as unforeseen circumstances may occur, which prevent you from being able to attend. The Annual Election Meeting of the Members cannot be held unless quorum requirements are met, either in person or by proxy. If quorum is not met, the meeting will have to be rescheduled and reconvened on a new date and time which could result in the Association incurring more costs.

    As the Managing Agent for Townsend Village Homeowners Association, Inc., we are pleased to announce that the Annual Election Meeting of the Members has been scheduled for Wednesday, July 6th, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss normal business of the Association, and to elect a total of three (3) Homeowners to the Board of Directors.

    Enclosed in this packet you will find the Draft Agenda and Proxy. Absentee ballots will be sent to homeowners who request them, however voting will be conducted during the meeting itself. Even if you plan on attending, it is important that you return your proxy as unforeseen circumstances may occur, preventing you from being able to attend. The Annual Election Meeting cannot be held unless quorum requirements are met, either in person or by proxy. If a meeting must be rescheduled for a later date due to lack of quorum, the Association will incur additional costs for the preparation and mailing of the Meeting Notice packet. You may assign your proxy to a Member of the Board or to a neighbor of your choice who will be in attendance.

    There are 3 ways to return your proxy.
